We have learned of the very sad news that Mary Driver, formerly a teacher at Trinity and St.Michael’s in Croston, died yesterday whilst in Australia with family and friends. Mary retired in the summer of 2017 after giving long-service to the school and prior to that we had worked for many years with her in the areas of Special Educational Needs and Modern Foreign Languages amongst others. She is known to so many of our current and former students who were at Trinity, who will also be deeply saddened by her sudden death.
The entire family enjoyed strong links with Bishop Rawstorne over a sustained period of time. Mary’s husband Marcel, who was with her in Australia, served the school with distinction for a number of years as a Governor and her three children Elizabeth, Jonathan and Rebecca all attended the school. We think of them all at this time and ask you to remember the whole family in your prayers.
