The objective of our club is to transform the school’s daily routine into one that benefits the environment. Simple changes like ensuring all unnecessary lights are switched off and that paper, foil and other materials are recycled.
Bishop Rawstorne was awarded the ‘Bronze Award’ by Eco Schools last year and we are working towards the Silver Award to further improve the environmental quality of the school.
These programmes will give our students a sense of responsibility and pride in what they have achieved. With this comes the hope that they will continue this behaviour in the wider community.
Our focus for this year is improving local community links down at Croft Fields, whilst continuing our focus on litter and food waste.
