Cultural Day – China 2023
On the 30th June, Bishop Rawstorne celebrated the Chinese culture by running ‘China day’. We were fortunate enough to host a number of visitors from the Manchester Chinese Centre and China Spirit who shared their expertise in language and culture. Students had great fun learning about topics such as traditional dress, calligraphy, Chinese cooking, Tai Chi, Kung Fu and the lion dance. Good fun was had by all and students got stuck into many creative activities from puppet making to discovering how to make egg fried rice the right way!
