Year 8 'Talk About Communication' Oracy Workshop
On Monday 10 July expert trainers from Talk The Talk came into school to work with our Year 8 students and deliver a 'Talk About Communication' workshop - an exciting and engaging master class providing students with the opportunity to develop their speaking and listening skills within a creative learning environment. Talk The Talk’s mission is to develop students’ oracy skills and their communication confidence to support positive interaction in all life situations and improved social outcomes. The workshop provided numerous speaking opportunities and students were coached and supported throughout the day to deliver a structured two minute presentation, on a topic for which they have a genuine passion, to their peers!
