We have some exciting news! We will taking part in a Guinness World Record attempt!
This is part of our National Poetry Day celebrations, when a class of our Year 8 students will be joining published poet Laura Mucha and thousands of other students across the country to attempt to break the record for ‘Largest Poetry Lesson taught Across Multiple Venues’.
This fantastic record-breaking attempt will take place on Thursday 3rd October (National Poetry Day) at 10 am, via a live video stream into our classroom. The theme of the poem is ‘counting’. The resulting collaborative poem will be publicised around the country.
This is a really rare opportunity and we are sure you are as excited as we are to be taking part in this unique event.
