History Revision Support

You will sit TWO examinations in the summer:

Paper 1 – Conflict & Tension 1918-39 and USA 1920-73 (2 HOURS) – Thursday 18th May (am)

Paper 2 – Power & the People 1170-present day AND Elizabethan England 1558-1603 (2 HOURS) – Wednesday 7th June (PM)

Microsoft Teams

You will find all your revision materials on your class Team which your teacher has provided. This includes:

  • Revision PowerPoints
  • Class notes booklets
  • Revision checklists
  • Knowledge quizzes
  • Revision Workbooks

You should use these to make your own revision resources e.g. mind maps, notes, flash cards, etc.

You should aim to complete practice questions at home as part of your revision. Should you do this, hand in, email or send these via Teams to your History teacher who will mark your work and give feedback. You will find all these practice questions on the revision workbook PowerPoints – just scroll to the end of the ‘portrait’ revision workbook PowerPoints to find them.

After school revision sessions

These sessions will run every Wednesday evening in the build up to the exams. The focus of these will be on both knowledge and exam technique to help prepare for your exams.
